Now we are also operating on a second site owned by Karmabumi Institute located at Tangkil Village. Karmabumi Institute is a sustainability education center through regenerative agriculture practice and research. On this site, we are nurturing local farmers on regenerative agriculture to improve their livelyhood

After years of searching the perfect place where we can call our 2nd home; we finally fall in love in a small village of Cibeling,  a hidden gems located 10 minutes from Karmabumi Institute and only 2 hours away from Jakarta, sit right below to Gede Pangrango National Park. Karmabumi Ecolodge is a sustainability education center demonstrating real life practice of Permaculture. Its a place that values a light foot-print on Mother Earth in its design and operations, a place for people to experience the natural surroundings in a low-impact way and learning more about Permaculture. This is also the site where we grow our organic rice.

Having a clean and healthy environment is critical aside from healthy food. We are working with local communities to ensuring the surrounding our farm is working toward the goal of being zero waste communities. First initiative is setting up Waste Bank and followed with community composting, a collective effort within the community to turn their domestic organic waste into compost that will be use at the farm
